Legally Blonde The Musical 2021
Our Principal Nikki is extremely excited to have been appointed as the choreographer for Rochdale Musical Theatre Company’s latest production ... Legally Blonde.
Nikki will be working alongside a fantastic production team in this fabulous venture; Director - Jess Sanchez is a Production Manager on BBC One’s “The One Show” by day and most recently directed The Wonderful Wizard of Oz at The Carver Theatre, and was nominated for her role as Musical Director for Elf. Jnr, with The Drama Department. Musical Director - Chris Addington has been doing shows for 12 years now. He has musically directed shows such as 'We will rock you, Hairspray, Godspell, Les Miserables and Avenue Q.' Chris won a NODA award for best comedy performance as Trekkie Monster in Avenue Q.
Rochdale Musical Theatre Company (formerly Rochdale Amateur Operatic Society) has contributed to the musical and cultural life of the local area for more than a century. Their large scale productions have received fantastic reviews as well as many NODA nominations and awards. Their talented members include highly trained singers, dancers, and actors, many of whom have gone on to work professionally. Legally Blonde will run in March (exact dates tbc due to current climate) at Matthew Moss High School. The exciting audition phase will begin in June and there is a virtual get together, via Microsoft Teams, on 8th June. This is for anyone who would like to be involved in the show whether it be principles, ensemble, backstage, front of house. Audition information will be available immediately after the virtual get together and priority will be given to those who attended the online event. - all audition details will be posted on 8th June.
